Watched some of the US & ? water polo match recently at the Rome competition. More interesting than i'd expected.. i mean after all the hot speedos are underwater.. lol... at least most of the time...
i can now see hough why you might enjoy it.
i really wanted to touch base and ask if you've checked pigboy's blog the past several days? He has posted some great pics he's taken of himself. Definitely worth checking out.

the speedos help water polo of course, but I like the action, similar to hockey & much rougher than anyone would think. the US rules of the 1890's said the player had to be thrown with the ball across the goal. lol Rugby was the model used for water polo. go figure.
