Κωνσταντίνος Φιλιππίδης, Greek Pole Vault

Konstadinos Filippidis (Κωνσταντίνος Φιλιππίδης)  was born 26 November 1986 in Athens, Greece. He is a pole vaulter and took first place in the 2014 World Indoor Championships in Sopot, Pomerania, Poland.   The Greek champion progressed through the final with no failures until the winning height of 5.80m, winning the world indoor title with a season's best.
His Palmares include:
1 x World Indoor Championships Gold medallist
1 x Olympic Games finalist
2 x World Championships finalist
5 x Diamond League meeting winner

and I would add, best hair of any pole vaulter!

His personal bests are:
