Sport Sunday: Diving In

Don't miss the US National Men's Diving Championship today, featuring Men's 10 m platform divers.  This is part of the USA Senior National Championships in Dallas. Competition is being held at the Aquatic center of Southern Methodist University.

Divers will include Jacob Cornish, of the University of Texas.  He walked onto the Texas team, having never dived competitively before, and now competes at the highest levels.  He trained as a gymnast, but left that discipline behind.  He said he liked the relaxed atmosphere of diving.  Recently, he came out via social media.  

Another competitor is David Dinsmore.  David Allen Dinsmore is an American diver,  now studying at the University of Miami.  He dives under coach Randy Ableman. In March 2017, Dinsmore won the NCAA Division I title on the men's platform event with a score of 528.20.   

Watch, also, for Anton Hoherz, who dives for the University of Iowa.  He loves diving, but is a music major at College.  

Also competing, and well known to readers of this blog, is Steele Alexander Johnson, who has won multiple national titles at both the junior and college level.

David Boudia was not competing.

Today is also day three of TYR Pro Swim Series in Indianapolis, Indiana.
