NFL Update Draft Edition

The 2016 NFL Draft finished up last week and, as usual, gave us much to study.  Round 1 alone provided us with three rookie quarterbacks, so that's a lot to digest right there.  And, in case you were wondering who the likely successor to Peyton Manning will be for the Broncos, the smart money says it will be Round 1 pick Paxton Lynch.  Watch for him this season.

Super Bowl 50 gave every sports junkie his fix on Sunday, as the Broncos came out on top in an historic defensive struggle.  Peyton Manning, of course, gets much credit as the winning quarterback; however, most of the credit for the Broncos' scoring actually goes to the defense and special teams.  They truly made their mark in this one.

... plus Broncos punter #4 Britton Colquitt resting on his laurels after the game.  He delivered eight flawless punts and served as holder for three successful field goal attempts.  It's not a surprise he's your highest paid punter in the NFL these days.
