Yes, this is the first weekend of the 2016-2017 season for players throughout Europe, in the Premier League in England, in La Liga in Spain, Serie A in Italy, Ligue 1 in France, the Bundesliga in Germany, etc.  So, from now until next Spring, lots of Soccer action coming at you.  Share some news of your favorite team, if you want.

Meanwhile, it should be noted that the Brazilian National Team beat Germany in the Olympic Mens Soccer Gold Medal Match yesterday in Rio.  They were tied at 1-1, but Brazil bested Germany in the shoot out 5-4.  Congratulations, Brazil!
