The ITU 2015 World Triathlon Series kicked off this past weekend, sportsfans, with veteran triathlete, Mario Mola of Spain, drawing first blood in the competition.
The ITU 2015 World Triathlon Series kicked off this past weekend, sportsfans, with veteran triathlete, Mario Mola of Spain, drawing first blood in the competition.
This exciting annual series includes a total of ten venues around the world and, this year, will culminate with the Grand Final in Chicago. Do check it out.

March 7 – Abu Dhabi
March 29 – Auckland
April 12 – Gold Coast
April 26 – Cape Town
May 17 – Yokohama
May 31 – London
July 19 – Hamburg
August 23 – Stockholm
September 6 – Edmonton
September 20 – Chicago (Grand Final)
And, it's a bit vexing that the Grand Final will be hosted in the US since male triathletes from the US have not been very competitive on the international stage in recent years. We will see!
... plus the best hope for the US, triathlete Jarrod Shoemaker. He finished 7th at last year's Edmonton Triathlon, so we'll remain optimistic.
