Olympian Jerome Singleton Jr. embodies the olympic spirit. He was born without a right shin bone and his leg was amputated below the knee. This didn't slow him down, and he started his track and field career in high school. His collegiate career started earning him a long string of gold and silver medals beginning in 2006. In 2011, he missed unseating the reigning champion by .002 seconds, although I have no idea how they figured that one out. You can see from the pics that his spirit, like his smile, is indomitable.
