Syria: Olympics Retrospective with Refugee Swimmer Rami Anis!

by Rexswimguy:

As you likely know, the city of Aleppo in Syria has been ravaged by civil war of late.  But, in spite of that sad situation, a refugee swimmer from that city, Rami Anis, was able to participate in the Summer Olympics on a special team for refugees ... nice!

Though Rami Anis did not make it past the heats of the swimming competition, he was a big crowd pleaser anyway.  (I can think of multiple reasons for that.)
